Revive will breathe new life into the former Cinoco warehouses, a former wine merchant, transforming them into 79 rental apartments with shared indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as 2700 square meters of flexible workspace at Tannat. The name ‘Tannat’ is inspired by a delicate grape variety known for its elegant aging, mirroring our vision for this site.

Location

A location in Brussels has never been so accessible. Tannat is situated just a stone’s throw away from the Weststation, a central hub for trains, metro, trams, and buses. Furthermore, it plays a crucial role in the future connection between Brussels-North and Brussels-South, as well as for the trains of the Regional Express Network (RER). Four metro lines (1, 2, 5, 6) stop right at the site, along with tram 82 and several bus lines. Last but not least, there is a Villo bike rental point nearby and various parking options.

History

Until the end of 1974, the location of Tannat and the surrounding building blocks was home to the Vandenheuvel brewery, where the delightful Ekla-pils was brewed. After its closure, various parts were sold, and the renowned Palais du Vin established itself on the premises. Since 2008, they have come together under the Cinoco Group, a renowned Belgian wine distributor with a rich history of over 325 years. For many years, they had their wine warehouses in Molenbeek. In 2019, Cinoco moved to Nivelles, freeing up space on the site for a school and a versatile residential project.

Mixed use

At Tannat, living and working will seamlessly blend together. On the ground floor of the building, we provide a fully dedicated economic zone, available for local entrepreneurs. We focus on three themes, carefully selected to align with the economy of Molenbeek: learn, make, and food. This area encompasses 2700 square meters reserved for economic activities, and in the coming years, we will develop these spaces in collaboration with our tenants.
